Waqar started his career with Nexia International – Riaz Ahmad & Co. He is a Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and Fellow Member Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA).

Waqar has 10 years of experience and specialized knowledge of handling complex business scenarios with expertise in business analysis. His Key areas of expertise are Financial Reporting, Budgeting & Planning, Preparation of Policies & Procedures, identifying vulnerabilities & weaknesses in Internal Control Systems, and ERP implementation. He is assigned the responsibility to head the Offshore Services Department, AHW is proactively rendering offshore services in Australia, Europe, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the USA under his supervision.

Considering his vast experience in audit and assurance, he was appointed as Quality Control Reviewer in October 2017 being responsible for quality assurance at the firm level.
